The chart below shows some of the test results for the Keystone snare compared to a Grover snare drum. The top heads of the drums were tuned to the same pitch, and the bottom heads were tuned to achieve the same total drum pitch. A dial indicator was positioned at the center of the bottom head (snares were removed for the test), and a series of controlled strikes were performed. The average of these strikes were then entered into the chart. As you can see, the keystone snare had an improvement of bottom head deflection throughout the test range.
